•Get/have one's (own) way (idiom) -

To do what one wants to do or get what one wants, even though someone else wants something different.(为所欲为)

Examples:  

1.Don't let the children always get their own way or they will be spoiled.  

2.She is very good at using her charm to get her way.

•On the right track (idiom) -

Doing something correctly or well.(方向正确,正途)

Examples:  

1.Although their research is far from complete, the scientists are convinced that they are on the right track.  

2.You haven't quite got the answer yet, but you're on the right track.

•Ruse (noun) -

A plan or trick used for hiding one's true intentions and deceiving someone else. (诡计,诈术)

Examples:  

1.She tried to think of a ruse to get him out of the house.  

2.It was just a ruse to distract her while his partner took the money.

•Push ahead (phrasal verb) -

To continue trying to achieve something despite opposition or difficulties. (继续进行,大力推进)

Examples:  

1.The government intends to push ahead with its reform programme.  

2.They are pushing ahead with plans to expand production.

•Hit the nail (right) on the head (idiom) -

To describe exactly what is causing a situation or problem.(一针见血,击中要害)

Examples:  

1."You've found the problem! You hit the nail on the head!"  

2.With regard to the gentleman's comments, I think he has hit the nail right on the head.
